As the coaching meetings with Neil progressed it became very obvious that he was successfully exploring issues that I was having to confront on a day-to-day basis and helping me to explore and reflect on my attitudes and feelings towards these issues.

Having now completed our series of meetings I feel that I have become a more composed and considerate ‘manager’.

If I am honest, having completed our time together I miss the opportunity to discuss such issues with someone who very quickly became a valued mentor.

I still keep the note book from our meetings in my bag and every now and then find myself going back to it for a quick reminder of the time Neil and I spent working together. I am now ‘self-aware’ of the signs that can lead to me becoming or feeling out of control.

Armed with the knowledge I derived from my coaching with Neil I can manage my day-to-day work load and commitments in a way which greatly reduces the stress that would otherwise make the day intolerable.

I now know I can, and so do, make more use of the resources around me and, having become more effective at communication, can manage those resources better. I think without Neil’s help and coaching I would given up ages ago.

Leadership Development and Coaching - Telegraph Media Group

There is only one person who in my mind was a credible enough consultant to run the editorial leadership development programme at the Telegraph Media Group. Neil Taylor has been instrumental in contributing to the design, set up and smooth running of this initiative, and in large the success and reputation of the programme is due to him.

Neil is professional, responsive, creative, responsible, proactive and insightful. He is challenging, thought provoking, and incredibly well respected at the Telegraph Media Group. He has made the editorial leadership programme possible, and valuable to our organisation.

Neil has the ability to make seemingly difficult subjects possible, and truly partners our business. He keeps the confidence of our leadership team, while at the same time helping the organisation to progress.

Head Of Learning And Development - Telegraph Media Group

As a coach I found Neil to be a confidential impartial person to review work challenges with no fear of agenda at work. As a result of our sessions I found I was able to cover the inevitable mixing up of personal and professional circumstances effectively.

During our sessions I devised successful strategies to allow problems to be overcome consensually.

To be honest I found the coaching with Neil was a refreshingly selfish time to talk about me.

Managing Director - Barclays Capital

My motivation in setting up a coaching relationship with Neil Taylor was that I had been performing in my job to a level where I was less than the sum of my parts. I knew it and my bosses knew it – and both I and they were frustrated at this and none of us had a clue why this was the case. I was also lacking confidence.

I am usually a good self-critic and, as such, I feel that as a result of the coaching I have handled specific situations differently (i.e. better!) than I had done in the past; I have been able to do things that I have not been able to in the past. The fact that I have been able to improve in specific areas, and the confidence I have gained as a result have created a snowball effect in terms of my performance.

I have received very good feedback in my new role – which has translated into remuneration.

Who knows, maybe most importantly, my wife and children have noticed that I am happier, which has certainly benefited them. I am convinced that this is down, in a significant part, to the effect of using Neil Taylor.

When I set up the coaching contract (with Neil) I was unsure what I would get out of it. However, the sessions quickly moved into areas of my life that I had no idea needed ‘sorting’. Neil calls this ‘organic coaching’ - well, it is certainly good for me!!

Together we explored the way my life looked and felt, challenging parameters and examining my internal language. I learnt new ‘trigger words’ that transformed my days and added huge dollops of positivity to my life.

In truth I believe it is not too messianic to say my life has been ‘saved’!! I was put off by the words ‘life-coaching’ before this experience, but now I feel it should be an experience everyone should have.

Senior Director - Polo Ralph Lauren

I have found the one-to-one coaching sessions with Neil enlightening, exhilarating and inspiring and have no hesitation in encouraging other senior executives who want to make positive changes for themselves and their organisations to sample his brand of Performance Coaching. I found myself enriched and motivated by the experience of working with him – he is relaxed, honest and open, and encouraging - my performance was enhanced as a result.

Neil works perceptively and intuitively, building on his clients' strengths, challenging their unhelpful beliefs and habitual thinking and so encouraging new patterns of behaviour.

Neil’s coaching sessions are crafted in such a way as to challenge at a conscious level, in respect of beliefs, goals and leadership skills while enabling individuals to see what they really are – this is tremendously revealing at a personal level.
