Option One - Full Support Programme
- Continuity of support and guidance for all candidates on an individual and highly personalised basis.
This involves individually designed and monitored Study Programmes for each of the three JIEB subjects;
setting, analysing and reviewing questions, designing effective notes, regular testing and one-on-one meetings
with Neil on a regular basis, enabling a long-term relationship to be developed.
This mentoring relationship enables the candidate to build the most constructive, long-term and successful study,
revision and exam taking style.
- The setting up of electronic and actual internal Study Support Groups. These ensure further continuity of
contact between candidates, real competition and the regular exchange of expertise and personal study and
exam techniques.
- In depth review and analysis of selected exam questions on a fortnightly basis, as well as BPP Home
Assignments and the candidates’ study notes. At an early stage each candidate will know exactly what their
performance is against the reality of the Joint Board’s exam.
In this way Neil’s considerable experience in the setting, moderating and marking of exams can be utilised.
- Bespoke courses, exclusive to your firm, using Neil’s as well as your firm’s own internal expertise on key
technical and exam technique issues.
These can include three or four ‘Technical Away Days’ over the key summer months during which group
continuity is maintained and applied to its most useful extent. Also, targeted topics are analysed in a practical
and examination based context.
- A three day Residential Course in September/October.
Each candidate is required to write and ‘file’ a personalised study plan, culminating in completion of all notes by
the time of this highly intensive and exam focused Course (approximately six weeks before their competitors in
other firms will have finished their notes).
The Residential Course will enable your candidates to test their exam skills and knowledge, leaving with a
personalised revision plan defining the decisive last two months prior to the exam.
We can design this Course to include one or more mock exams to be set under exam conditions, maximising the
candidates’ performance in the run-in phase.
- A series of three mock exams, one per subject, in October under exam conditions.
- Continuing support, guidance and a full exam marking and review service up until the day(s) of the exam.
