| A Book By Neil Taylor
Books do not change people’s lives, people do. However, sometimes a book can be the picture on a piece of jigsaw at the centre of your puzzle; one of the messages the reader has been searching for. Sometimes reading a book can be the defining event a reader needs to make lasting changes in their life. Clues From The Universe has that potential.
As such it recognises that is has a responsibility. People need to be entertained, intrigued, challenged and made to laugh and think to reach the part of themselves capable of finding answers to critical questions. Clues From The Universe poses these questions in a series of apparently unconnected stories, fables and parables which interweave, connect and ultimately conclude. The conclusion is that each person is the designer of their life, with accountability for the way they design it. The universe gives clues to the design, it is for us to piece them all together with everyone else, as we unwittingly design and co-design together.
"What if the universe only changed for you? The others could
keep their rules, luxuriate in ‘right’ and ‘wrong’, look forward
to tomorrow and fear death the day after. But for you, what if
you wake up and everything you thought you knew had changed?"
Clues From The Universe was published by Athena in October 2008. See www.cluesfromtheuniverse.com for more information.
Clues From The Universe takes personal development to a new level. It is a book designed to be explored, read and reread. It has been constructed along the theme of ‘seek and find’ in self discovery. The reader will find their own keys within stories that stimulate and inspire, on areas ranging from thoughts defining reality, through to coming to terms with the inner child and the power of cognitive therapy. The reader uses the parables to unlock information, unearthing the links and messages strewing the text like personal treasure. This is the literature of ‘self-help’.
The life of the estate was the people who lived there within
the brickwork brushstrokes that were its lines. It worked with
them, laughed with them and loved with them. They were its
soul, the creators of not only its complexity, but the simplicity
of its purpose. On their own, furiously concentrating on living
their lives, they were blissfully unaware of this. When they finally
joined together they would know.
