| This is a course best delivered to exam candidates about five to six months before the exam sitting. It can be designed to be programmed over half a day or a day.
Delegates will examine and explore the way their brains take in and assimilate information. What type of learners are they? Visual? Kinaesthetic? Audio? How can they use their strengths, imagination and invention to create and actively review their notes? How can they develop long-term memory? 21st Century Study Skills focuses on how all of this can maximise their chances of exam success, whilst increasing their confidence.
Effective memory is based on layering and linking information. We analyse together the best way to effect this in the construction of study notes. We look at examples and real life study facts, making the ideas and concepts work for the delegates, empowering them to go away with techniques they can adapt for themselves.
The course focuses on the mind-set, attitude, commitment, organisation, note-taking, revising and recall skills that are essential to busy professionals studying for exams.
We look at turning short-term into long-term memory with the use of key right brain learning techniques and the magic of active review.
